The relative risk of ACL injury in female athletes is 3-8 times greater than in males.
ACL injuries are one of the most common—and devastating—injuries in female athletes, especially in soccer. The combination of cutting, pivoting, and landing movements puts the knee at risk if the body isn’t properly prepared. But here’s the good news: research-backed warm-up routines can significantly reduce injury risk, especially when done consistently.
At PR Performance Lab, we’ve blended the most effective elements from to bring you a purposeful 20-minute warm-up designed specifically for high school girls’ soccer.
