The calf muscles
(gastrocnemius, soleus, and many other smaller ones) contract,
lift your heel and propel you upward and forward
that give you the final push of your every step.
Thus, the strength of your calf muscles determines your
Strong calves are a big of your performance!
But, strong calves also
prevent many injuries & support your posture.
Let's do a quick assessment of your calf strength,
then 5-mins of foot flex walking,
then 40-50 single leg flamingo up-downs.
Jump roping is also always awesome for the calves!
